This is our premium service. We will work with your family to create a legacy documentary of an individual or couple. What’s included:

Conversion of family physical media into digital form
Archival research at historical societies
Recording original video of up to 5 personally important locations

About Us
Inherited Stories® was founded in September 2019 by Emmy Award®-recipient storyteller, Dietrich Nissen. Dietrich was inspired to offer families a way to preserve their loved one’s stories after witnessing his grandma’s battle with dementia and the loss of her ability to share their family’s history.
Little did he know that the work of Inherited Stories® would go beyond the elderly. The company has now served families with loved one’s who are dealing with terminal illnesses, as well as those who want to create a special film to celebrate anniversaries. No matter what the occasion may be, our services are a great opportunity for people of any age to connect, share, pass on and celebrate their lived experiences with loved ones.
Inherited Stories® is based in Edina, Minnesota and actively serves families in the Upper Midwest of the United States of America.
